My love of taking pictures began when I was a young girl. It continued through high school, where I worked on the year book staff, and into college. I began college as a psychology major, and took my first photo class for fun. After one semester, I changed my major to Mass Communications, with an emphasis on Photojournalism. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, and soon became a photojournalist for the Chattanooga News-Free Press, which has since become the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

I still love taking photos, and with the growing types of social media, find more and more ways to share them. I am active on Facebook, Tumblr, Wordpress, Pinterest and Instagram and Twitter.
